Our first hunt test has been a success!! We held our preliminary and
licensed tests April 25-26, 2009 at St. Louis Ponds in Gervais, OR. We had
close to 120 entries over the weekend...a great showing.
Congratulations to all who passed their dogs. Remember, in order
for your points to count toward a title, your dog must be registered
with UKC. You do have 60 days after a hunt test to register your dog so
points can be accumulated. Clear as mud?!? Ask any of us for details.
In the meantime, click on the "HRC" tab above to find the link for UKC dog
registration. It's quite simple, you fill out the form and send it with
a copy of your dog's registration (most likely AKC or CKC).
Our many thanks to those from Whistling Wings HRC for both the
manpower and equipment. We couldn't have done it without you! It was a
pleasure having Carol Ford, the HRC National Secretary, here from
Ontario to judge our test. Not to mention, she brings an assistant with
her!!! We still have sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats available for sale.
